Fiji

Fiji is one of the most accessible island destinations in the South Pacific, making it well-touristed and having a pretty well-oiled transport system that gets you out the beaches right quick, even if it moves slower than you'd like. But aside from those facts, it also has incredible beaches to relax on or some great activities for those who get sick of relaxing (surfing, snorkling, boat rides, fishing, hiking, take your pick).

Places:
1. Waya Island
2. Beachcomber Island
3. Mana Island
4. Nadi
?. Beqa Lagoon

Sights/Activities:
1. Yasawa Islands - Natural Wonder
2. Beachcomber Island - Party

Beers of Fiji: Fiji Gold, Fiji Bitter. Fiji Gold is their typical lager and Fiji Bitter is a bit like a pale ale. Neither are great and nowhere do they serve them for cheap. Grade: D.

Ice Cream of Fiji: I didn't ever try it, mostly because it wasn't available on the islands.

Exchange Rate: $1=2.0FJD as of August 25th.

Time Spent: 5 days, 5 nights

Optimum Time Spent: Three weeks. Island hopping and blissful relaxation, what could be better?

Best Season:

Food Specialties: Kava isn't really a food, but it is a typical drink in the islands, made from roots and water that tastes like dirt, although somewhat less unpleasant.
